Mac OS X 在我心目中雖然是很好，但傾慕之餘也得了解她的缺點，這可提升我對她「貨不對辦」時的包容度…
滑網時看到這篇 “Why I Might Switch Back…“，標題好不吸引，一看就知道是甚麼回事。看畢全文，果然是有他的理由，不過我在另一角度客觀地看會認為作者的觀點其實主觀得很（well，那篇文章其實也沒有客觀的必要）；他也有點跨數個平台的經驗，但看來他也不夠 open-minded；說來說去，就是他的觀點跟我的主觀視角很不同… 
其實他說他已全面投入地用過 Mac 達七個月之久，除了那突出的 33 點之外，接著也有提及數點非點列式 Mac 的好處。希望 switch 或是 switch back 的朋友要看看啊。

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7 Windows XP 有一點我覺得那位作者講得很對的, 就是 mac 的東西很多都 non-standard! 我們很多時說 ms 攪很多 non-standard 的東西出來, 其實 mac 更過份。

當然，以佢幾個 points 都係類似「唔用 GarageBand，但跟機有 GarageBand 就是缺點。」來看，作者似乎係谷 visitors 多Ｄ。
可能下次佢會寫《Why I ***might*** switch to Solaris/Debian/AIX from Mac》，再來一次。

Mozilla Firefox 1.6a1 Mac OS X Sorry 又炸版，只怪，每次都是太早按下 send，如果有 preview 便可以避免了， anyway， It is still my fault of action before thinking much.
基於作者說轉用了 Mac OS X 為主電腦七個月，但在那兒 search by “Mac OS X”，回來最早那編是七月寫的（July，不是七個月）《http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/1008537.html》不過是兩個月前的事和七個月大有出入。
但他其中一編《Macdotting》，便已提及，他知道提及 *Mac*，是會增加讀者。現在個半月後扮 innocent，便是騙人了。縱使不是 calculated move，都不會是 unexpected result。

Mozilla 1.0rc3 Windows 2000 Well, this guy most likely made a mistake picking up a mini and a Powerbook instead of a G5 Tower, when he DEMAND cutting edge tech/software and plays FPS that kills entry level and mobile Macs. And a gaming geek/Linux guy might have the tendency not to use most of iLife and iWork.. they will want to mod the system, which is exactly what Steve and the gang hate and prevent users to do.
Mac is for “the rest of them” for computer users, not for uber geeks.I don’t know what to say about this… when one want to find faults, usually he/she will find them. At least part of his reasons are preference issues, not the machine being unsuitable for the general mass. I guess him being a minority in the computing demographics had him being bitter… Mac followers before the rise of OSX and iPod should had feel the same back then.
Anyway, these are the comments from a semi-switcher which is not a Mac geek (yet) and likes Apple stuff.

Felix 兄所言甚是，以 mac mini 及 powerbook 的速度，user 的焦點還是放回享用 mac os x 的軟件比較好；不過又話分兩頭，同樣價錢的 pc，的確在玩遊戲方面比 mac 好得多啊…

還好我較了解你那「四仔全相 hardcore 式」的硬派說話方式，每次都是把事實赤裸裸地搬到人家面前，我會接受不來啊…

如果我起個標題做點解我永不回頭唔知會點呢？
「我由 1998 年 4 月買入我第一台 Mac，由 hybird 到純 Mac 環境已經有4-5 年，就連 office 有 windows 我都唔要，要自己帶 ibook 返工。總之，我就是1-不喜歡 wintel, 2-唔鍾意IE,
